Productpine is seeking a high-energy Business Developer for the Dutch market with a passion for sales and brand partnerships. The successful individual will be a deal-closer that is eager to operate in a fast-paced sales environment in a fast-growing start-up, while working in a growing team of business developers. This individual is proactive and has excellent verbal and written-communication skills. He or she is high in energy and works extremely efficiently to get the job done.
You will be part of a growing team of business developers and report directly to Productpine’s Partnership Manager, who will assist you in spotting new partnership opportunities and boosting the success of our current partners. Exciting stuff, right?
- You will be executing the onboarding process of the 600 brands in our waiting list, in close collaboration with our Partnership Manager;
- You will be identifying new business opportunities for Productpine, as you will reach-out to new and exciting brand partners;
- You will close small and big deals and have responsibility over part of the brand partnership portfolio and the brands’ performance;
- You will assist in maintaining and optimizing the sales funnel to reduce the time-to-launch of new brand partners of Productpine;
- You will assist in maintaining and optimize our inbound and outbound lead generation pipeline, our CRM (Hubspot) and other related sales-focused software tools.
- Fluent in Dutch and English;
- Interested in (direct-to-consumer) brands and familiar with the direct-to-consumer trend in e-commerce;
- Educational background in business (HBO / WO);
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a high-emotional IQ;
- Working experience in the field of business development or sales is not required, but is seen as a plus;
- Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills;
- You are proactive and enjoy working autonomously;
- You are resilient and can cope well with the ups-and-downs of a sales role;
- You are persistent, a problem-solver, get the job done and don’t take “no” for an answer;
- You are continuously trying to improve the efficiency of your work;
- You get a kick out of closing partnerships, developing mutually beneficial long-term partnerships and exceeding the expectations of our brand partners;
- Skilled in listening, pitching, presenting and negotiating;
