FIT FORM
The Feston slippers are easy to put on. The warm slippers have a good sole. The fit makes the slippers very comfortable and will adjust to the shape of the feet.
MATERIAL
Slippers: These handmade slippers are made of felted sheep's wool. Friction from soap and water shrinks the wool which hooks together due to the fine scales in the fibers. The result is then felt, a strong and sturdy fabric with all the natural properties of wool. Thus, like wool, felt is sturdy, warm and naturally regulating. This means that feet always have a comfortable temperature, regardless of the outside temperature. This wool is a fabric that breathes very well, so you won't get sweaty feet and the slippers are comfortably warm.
The sheep's wool slippers consist of a felt outer and inner layer. The outer layer is brown sheep's wool. The wool on the inside has the natural color so there is still Lanolin in the felted wool. This wool is blended giving the inside a light green color. The lanolin (animal wax) found in the wool is used in medical science. It soothes feet with rheumatic, joint and muscle pain.
Sole:The slippers have an extra ecru colored layer of felt as a sole with a leather sole on top. This leather sole is light gray. The slippers have a thicker sole because of the extra layer of felt.

Maintenance
The wool has self-cleaning properties and breathes.
The felt has a nice feature that it is water- and dirt-repellent.
Kick out the slippers outside regularly and they can be vacuumed.
If you want the slippers to freshen up, leave them outside overnight. Wool ventilates.
Remove stains with a damp cloth, using a little wool detergent.
We do not recommend washing the slippers in the washing machine, as they can shrink. Want to wash them anyway? Then do it on a wool program with just the slippers and put them on immediately after washing so they can mold to your feet again.
